7) Mobile Innovation Grand Prix

As part of the Global Mobile Awards 2010, the Mobile Innovation 'Grand Prix' is specifically designed for start-ups, small and medium sized organisations that are developing innovative mobile products or services and seek industry (operator/vendor/Venture Capital) support in order to achieve and/or sustain market deployment.

The Mobile Innovation Grand Prix category differs from other Global Mobile Award categories in that it's a year-round process with several stages of judging through the year, including physical presentations at regional events held throughout the year. Reference the Mobile Innovation web site for details.

During each regional event, two overall winners have won a trip to Barcelona to compete as a Global Finalist for the Mobile Innovation Grand Prix Cup in addition we have invited, two partner organizations who have promoted their competition winners into the Grand Prix – the BlackBerry Developer Challenge and the Qualcomm Venture’s Qrize.

Listen in as 10 Global Finalists make their final pitch to the judges of the Mobile Innovation Grand Prix on Monday, 15 February, 1400 in Hall 5, Room 4!
